JORDAN — PARIS TOUR 23

PROJECT INFORMATION:

We were brought on to the project and commissioned by Uncommon creative studio to create Jordan’s global campaign identity for their Paris tour 23/24. We worked over several weeks overseeing the creative direction and design aspects alongside the CD & Producers of Uncommon and Jordan.

We have created a type texture treatment and the inspiration was to replicate a treatment from the main AV. We wanted to create a more analogue feel, with a bit of imperfection and light bleed. Using references of lens flares, old analog film grains and letterpress methods really took the type to another level. The collaboration resulted in a wide range of both print and digital assets to be used throughout billboards all over the states and for NBA 2K in-game digital media.

The campaign incorporated distinctive framing, type treatments, retouching, artworking — all filtered through a concept and grid which we have developed. The desired result was to create a graphic system that was capable of housing all ambassadors of Jordan, as well as to build a library of assets that would respresent each city.
